Most of our services are livestreamed – you can watch them “live” or “later” on our YouTube channel.
9.00am Congregation
The 9am follows a well-known and loved framework, encompassing a wide variety of prayer, reading, and songs, along with the occasional surprise. There is an intentionally diverse range of music, from the hymns of Charles Wesley to the bright music of City Alight, with many others along the way. We draw inspiration from Common Worship and many strands of Christian tradition, seeking to glorify God, celebrate the Lordship of Christ, and respect the authority of Scripture. All who take part are committed to leading those who attend into a place where they can meet with God, hear and learn from him, bring their needs and rejoice in his presence.
Holy Communion is celebrated regularly and prayer ministry is offered after the service.
All are welcome!
The 10.30am
10.30am on a Sunday at St Peter’s is a time when all ages gather together for an hour or so as a Church family and things happen very informally! We’ll start with some information about what is happening in the life of St Peter’s, we’ll sing songs (which are usually quite easy to pick up), we’ll say prayers, someone will give a talk … and you’ll get a chance to meet people, drink coffee, enjoy cake or biscuits and, hopefully, find out we’re not scary.
If any of that sounds a bit scary, please don’t worry – you don’t have to dress up or be anything you’re not! We have all ages and about a dozen nations represented, and we want to help you feel at home. Nobody will land on you although they may come up and say “hello” and introduce themselves. Just be you and come along!
emPower
An evening service on a Sunday is not so common, compared to years ago. emPower, our monthly evening service, aims to offer a time which resources (empowers) those who come for the days and week ahead. A very informal hour or so, this is space for worship, prayer, reflection and ministry – but the make up of each evening is very different and, seeking to let the Spirit lead us, is rather unpredictable. Aiming to be a practical means whereby the Vision to Go Deeper, Seek God and Reach Out can be explored in God’s presence, means that we take the time (and space) to hear God (and each other) and leave as changed disciples.
emPower is currently taking a pause – come back to find out when the evenings restart.
Wednesday @ 11
Our service on a Wednesday at 11am is in the Chapel and involves a varied menu of worship, with thoughts and reflections, along with prayer and worship, reflecting the life of St Peter’s. Once a month (usually on the 2nd Wednesday) we share Holy Communion together, knowing that we do so in a place that thousands have done before us, over a thousand years. Wednesday is a special time in a special place – and all are welcome.

Wellspring
Wellspring meets at 8.30am each weekday morning in the Chapel and offers the opportunity to meet with others for a half hour of worship, reading scripture and praying together, to start the day. Each day we discover new insights, hear God speaking through the Bible and each other, and bring to Him the day ahead. All are very welcome to join us!
